So the previous post was about today's stats on my cancer diagnosis. Right now I'm gonna share the visualization that's going on in my slightly crazy head.
I'm picturing myself at the front of a large triangle of people (think Cabaret). The people are all of you, backing me up and supporting me in a somewhat Michael Jackson (may he R.I.P) Thriller Video-like way (minus the creepy costumes, jarring hand movements and dragging foot moves), where they're all coming closer to the camera. I picture us all as an army fighting this dreaded disease. Hmmm, maybe I should leave the creepy costumes in. Might be more scary for the cancer. Maybe "whoopass" SHOULD be pictured in a zombie-like costume. I'll have to think more about that. The song, however, is not Thriller. It's Gonna Be Startin' Something. LIKE WHOOPASS!!! :o)

CA-125 numbers
If I was playing the lottery for the highest CA-125 numbers, today would be my lucky day. The numbers came back very high, so we're proceeding right with surgery next Thursday morning 7/9/09. I'll have a colonoscopy on Wednesday morning (prep on Tuesday morning... woohoo!), so I figure I have about 3 days of eating to do before then!
Today was getting a lot of pre-op stuff done (EKG, bloodwork, urine analysis, and chest x-ray). Tomorrow will hopefully be an organizational day. I think my parents are coming out on Monday to help out. I need your prayers, so keep 'em coming. That's all for now. Love to all.
