Monday, Monday. Where are the Mamas and the Papas when you need them?

Actually, my mama and papa are right here with us in Glenview. I wept like a baby when they arrived yesterday. Apparently I just needed my mommy and daddy! :o) I've come to the conclusion that no matter how old you are when you get any kind of sickness, you just want your mom and dad around. I'm very lucky to still be able to have that as an option.

Me, mom and dad drove around to all the food stores I go to and did a little shopping so they could learn their way around and learn what things I buy for my dairy-allergy son. They've been having a great time with Benjamin. In their words, he "winds himself up in the morning and still has lots left by the end of the day."

Phil took Benjamin, Christian and Elizabeth on a bike ride and then to Little Bear Park where they got wet in the spray fountains, played on the playground, did the sandbox thing and went through the maze. Sounds like a fun time!

I have a massage scheduled for tonight but may see if it can be switched to tomorrow morning so Phil and I can have a date night at the movie before the long period of no-date nights begins. I wish I was hungrier since this is the last day I can eat for awhile, but the nerves have taken over temporarily.

I'm confident I can beat this but would be lying if I said I wasn't down about it. So much at stake. So much to fight for. Which I will, of course. Just need a few more cans of Whoopa$$ to help me through the duldrums.

Love to all, Sandy
